Miky has her bad days; but on the average she has been pretty good. She has been growing although she is still very tiny. She goes every Monday to the hospital near her place and has her blood work done, then on Tue. she goes to her Doctor and gets her chemo shot in her leg. She takes her daily chemo by pill form now and likes that a lot better. Her hair is growing back and she is looking pretty healthy now.

Tomorrow Miky has to go back to the cancer clinic for her chemo shot and testing. If all is well that will be the last time for 6 weeks. Every week she will be just going to her doctor for the shots. This has been so much easier on the rest of us. So far so good, hopefully it all will continue.

July '98

The past months have been fairly good for Miky. Her last trip to the Cancer Clinic at the end of June was to take samples of her spinal fluid and place chemo into her spine plus the shot in her leg. This was all done while she was put under gas (first time for her). This was not a good idea as Miky was sick for 2 weeks after this treatment. Hopefully they don't use the gas again. In the middle of July Miky and her brother spent a few days at her Nanna's while her mom and dad moved to their new house. Miky and her brother will enjoy having their own yard to play in. On the 20 of July, Miky became very sick and had to be taken to the hospital for tests. We haven't heard back from the tests yet, so hopefully all is well. She is at home so that is a good sign. *smile* .. I will be off the net for quite awhile. I will try to get upgrade on Miky as soon as I can. Renovating the house and holidays. *smile*
